My Zen.

I find my Zen state by creating jewelry. To sit in a sunny warm room with the light coming through the soft white sheer curtains in my studio with the perfect cup of coffee.

Thinking about the gardens in France and how the soft frost on the leaves and grass shimmers in the sunlight.

Nature inspires me , either through color or texture. The way nature can marry colors better than I can makes me envious ..haha.

Redecorating My Studio/Craft Room/Catch All Room!

I decided after looking at my craft room that I needed a change. I do all of my jewelry making in here along with everything else creative. I need a change though. I need something that is full of life and since this room is bright ..I want it to be a soft and comfortable area. These pictures are my inspirations.

The first picture caught my eye with the way she used all the accent colors. The room keeps your eyes moving as there is so much to see. The second picture is softer and more neutral. I would like a mix of both.

French Crystal Sconces....Ooh LaLa!!

I was blessed to receive these sconces for Christmas. I absolutely adore them. The crystals are HUGE. I haven't figured out exactly where to place them. I already have a chandelier over my fireplace so I think that might be over kill.

I have learned so much from looking at some of the most talented peoples blogs in blogland. I have learned to decorate the way I really wanted to, but honestly was overwhelmed by the thought of changing and going French. I love things French and France so it was a great decision to redecorate my home. I feel like I am back in France again when I come home and that makes me smile. So Thank you to all of you that have inspired and taught me how to decorate and not be afraid.

A Special French Delivery....Joyeux Noel!!!

Let me start by saying I am very lucky to have people who love me so much. This week has started off a bit rough, but after getting this early Christmas gift...This WEEK IS NOW AMAZING!! haha. Someone that loves me very much bought me this French bust. I adore this piece. She has the sweetest look on her face. I have her in my office with some of my pearl necklaces and rhinestone hair combs at her base. This year for Christmas I asked for anything French. I really don't care about the price...I just wanted something from the heart that they think I would cherish. Christmas is too much about gifts and keeping up with the Jones's at times and it should be more about showing people how much we love them. So whether my gifts cost two dollars or one hundred dollars...makes no difference. I know that people that love me with be with me this Christmas and that is what to me is important......................and this French bust!! I wish you all a very safe and happy holiday. P.S.
